Commodore Anisur Rahman Mollah, (L), NUP, psc, BN
Commodore Anisur Rahman Mollah, (L), NUP, psc, BN was born in 08 November 1965 and joined Bangladesh Navy in January 1985. He was commissioned in the Electrical Engineering Branch of Bangladesh Navy in 01 July 1987. He is a graduate from the Bangladesh Naval Academy under the Chittagong University and obtained Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He did his Specialization on Electrical, Electronics and Weapon Engineering from India. The officer has undergone various training courses related to Electrical Engineering, both at home and abroad. He did Junior Staff Course (JSC) and served under United Nations in MINURSO, Western Sahara as United Nations Military Observer (UNMO). He is a Mirpurian and obtained Master in Defence Studies (MDS) under National University. He also completed Senior Staff Course from Bangladesh Public Administration and Training Center (BPATC) at Savar. He served in Bangladesh Naval Academy (BNA), School of Maritime Warfare and Tactics (SMWT) as instructor and onboard different warships as Weapon Engineering Officer/Electrical Officer, BNS SHAHEED MOAZZAM, Kaptai as Officer in Charge, Electrical and Radio Electrical School and Naval Headquarters as Deputy Director. He also served at Khulna Shipyard Limited (KSY) as Deputy General Manager (Electrical), General Manager(Production), General Manager (Administration), General Manager (Design and Plan) ‘Project Officer’ for 05 Patrol Crafts (first-ever warship built in Bangladesh) and General Manager (Administration) at Dockyard & Engineering Works Limited, Narayangonj and Commanding Officer of Naval Support Unit at Dockyard and Engineering Works Limited. Before joining Khulna Shipyard as Managing Director he was in Naval Headquarters as Director Technical Stores. He is happily married and blessed with two daughters.
